One Month or One Day???
Sooooo much has happened that I feel like I need a lifetime to explain it all! Tomorrow marks the one month anniversary of me being back in the states, but it feels like I just landed last week. China does NOT feel that far away--think about that one! As per Mom's idea, I am going to try to update this more often, but I'm not promising long drawn-out entries. I'll just try to keep you in the loop.
Right now I am catching up on all the requirements that I promsised Western after they gave me all the money to go to China. I have to show up in classrooms and talk about my experience, I have a paper to write and volunteer work in the study abroad fair (which requires training, of course). Just lots of things that I have to follow up on.
My classes this semester are super-intense. Four of my teachers told me at the beginning of the semester that if I had a heavy course load, I shouldn't be taking their class because it was a lot of work...unfortunately, I need to be in all of their classes! So I'm taking just over the maximum for a full course load and slowly becoming buried in homework. If I make it out alive, I will be a very happy girl!
More later...
